Miriam Moss, Director of Style, supervises all in-room styling and the highest standard of housekeeping services for guests and visitors of the resort. She previously served as Director of Housekeeping at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa and is a true expert in her field.  During her four-year tenure at the Westin, Moss was recognized as Manager of the Quarter and Manager of the Year.  She also served as Rooms Manager at the Boulders Resort & Golden Door Spa and Assistant Director of Housekeeping at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa.  Her strong background and familiarity of rooms-related responsibilities are qualities key to enhancing the efforts of Montelucia Resort & Spa to provide unparalleled and impeccable housekeeping services to guests.

Q:What was the number one reason you decided to join our team at Montelucia Resort & Spa?
A:It has a lot to offer that many other resorts in the valley don’t.It was exciting to be part of a special place.

Q:Where did you grow up or where have you lived?
A:Grew up in Tucson, moved to Texas for a while and ended up in Phoenix since 1996.

Q:How did you get your start in the hospitality industry?
A: I worked at the Metropolitan Tucson Convention and Visitors Bureau for 5 years, when I moved to Phoenix, I started in HR at the Arizona Biltmore.

Q: What are you passionate about?
A: My family and friends.Everything else is bonus.

Q: What do you like most about your current job?
A:The people who work here.They are genuine about hospitality and make this job fun.Most places are stuffy or too serious. Get the right group together and you can laugh until your belly hurts.

Q:What is your favorite film or book?
A:I don’t have one, there are many good books out there.

Q:If you could live a double life, what would the other “you” be doing?
A:Traveling with my husband and kids.

Q:What advice would you give to someone who aspires to be in your position?
A: Be dedicated and always learn something, the rest will come.
